A mainly dry and warm day for the Piedmont

A bit drier for today and much of Friday, wetter this weekend

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Today: Partly Cloudy. Mainly Dry. High 79.

Tonight: Mostly Clear. Low 61.

Friday: Partly Cloudy. Isolated  Shower or Storm Possible Evening. High 79.

Saturday: Mostly Cloudy. Rounds of rain likely. High 74. 

Sunday: Mostly Cloudy. Rain possible morning through afternoon. Tapering off. High 71. 

WEATHER SUMMARY: 

While a stray storm can't be ruled out this afternoon, we should be mainly dry through Friday as weak high pressure builds over the Eastern U.S. Today will be partly cloudy with a high of 79. Tonight, will be clear with a low of 61. 

As the high move offshore, and a weather system approaches from the Southern Plains, clouds will begin to increase Friday. The daylight hours will be dry. There will be an isolated storm chance towards evening. The high on Friday will be 79. Rain chance will be on the increase Friday night through Saturday night. As the Plains system moves in. During the period, an few storms are possible, mainly Saturday afternoon. The high on Saturday will be 75. While it is still a bit unclear, some rain could linger into Sunday. The high on Sunday will be 76.

Dry weather will return for Monday and Tuesday. highs ill be around 80. Morning low temperatures will be in the lower 60's.

The normal low is 57, and the normal high is 78.
